SoCal Airflow Pros was great! It was easy to schedule an appointment. On the day of the service, the office sent a photo of the technician, so I would recognize him when he arrived. The technician called ahead of the appointment and was on time. He was respectful and wore booties inside the house. He was very thorough with my A/C system, taking it apart and inspecting every component. He told me things that we will need to keep an eye on as the system ages (my blower is apparently leaking oil), but I didn't feel like he was trying to sell me on extra services. He spent about 3 hours here, testing the temperature at all of the vents and running diagnostics. He was very nice and even took in one of my trash can from the street when he went to throw away the old A/C filter. I definitely recommend these guys!

If youre like me with lilmited understanding of how complex HVAC actually is, SoCal Airflow Pros is the place for youI purchased a new build in RMV and unfortunately, the builder did the absolute bare minimum when it came to the installation of the ducts. It was so poorly engineered, not only were the ducts to narrow, they were actually kinked. The airflow was so bad, the furnace would over head and shut off. couldnt heat my house past 61 degreesSocal airflow sent out tech Moreno, who was extremely intelligent and passionate about his job. Moreno accurately diagnoses the issue and informated me of the complexity of the situationThe only slight inconvenience, was the process of getting a quote. A job as big as mine did require several visits to get an accurate quote. I can now understand, that its not as easy as just the snap of a finger.... which for the layman you would think it would be.I voiced my concern and manager Jaime did an amazing job with addressing my concers.the install took an entire day, the team doing the install was great.Uly follwed up with me a next day, schedule a quality control review, stop by my house to ensure the work was done correctly (which i greatly appreciate).bottom line, HVAC isnt as simple as one would think. you need a knowledgeable and ethical team on your side. look no further than SoCal Airlow Pros

SoCal Airflow Pros came out the same day I called for a quote. I was originally told by another company that I would need to re-configure the crawl space in my home. SoCal Airflow Pros included that in their original quote. They are the top distributor of Carrier air conditioning and furnace systems.The day of install, the installers were 20 minutes early. The lead installer climbed into the attic to assess the situation. He came out of the attic and told me the reconfiguration of the crawl space would be time consuming and he didn't want to disturb anything structural. Instead, he and his partner disassembled the furnace and took it piece by piece up into the attic, then put it back together.The level of customer service went above and beyond my expectations. Not only did the installer save me $1500 (no crawl space change), they completed the install in one day.This small, veteran owned company provides exceptional customer service and presents you with all of the available options and pricing.

Jack, who designed my new system and both Terrance and Andrew who completed the installation adhered to these qualities.I have to give a big shout out to Terrance and Andrew, the amount of work, detailed installation and communications were exceptional. They worked diligently to assure not only quality work, but were flexible and accommodating with our households special needs including our 2 dogs and cat.As this was a substantial purchase and decision, we are completely satisfied with choosing SoCal AirflowPros.*****END OF UPDATE*****I am here to review the first two steps for what looks like will be a 4 step process.First step was contacting SoCal AirflowPros to get a diagnosis of why my AC stopped working. I left a message on their customer service line and was contacted by Raul. He was professional, personable and caring. He understood my needs and set me up a technician appointment very quickly. As I left the message late Friday night, he contacted me Saturday and the appointment was set for Monday.Monday, and Aubrey calls to tell me he is on his way, an hour earlier than I expected, wonderful start! Now let's just say that Aubrey checked EVERYTHING. At every inspection point he stopped and explained what he found with both pictures and a hand drawn diagram. This made everything so much easier to understand. Again, professional, personable and caring! I think you can see a trend for their staffing requirements. I just had SoCal Airflow Pros at my home to get my air conditioning system back up and running. The technician showed up on time, took a look at the system inside the home and outside, covered my floors and his shoes to protect my floors and described and drew a picture to explain how the system is supposed to work and why mine failed. We talked about options and then agreed on a plan. So now, an hour later, I am sitting in my cooling home, knowing that it is working and that the technician will be contacting me to follow up so that we can make sure that my system won’t fail again. They were not the people that installed the system. They are , however, making sure that everything is in place so that they can guarantee it will continue to work. I have been using SoCal Airflow Pro’s for a while now, since I started using them for a rental property that I have. I was so impressed with their work ethic that I asked them to come to my personal home. So I was lucky that I already had them in my contacts when I really needed their help.

Unbelievably positive interaction with SoCal Airflow Pros. They are remarkably friendly and extremely knowledgable. Being veteran-owned means a lot to us, as our son’s a Marine and we have extended family in the armed forces as well.

Our AC unit had acted up a few times over the years and they were able to come out and fix it, even though it was very old. I knew that I wanted to give them a shot at an estimate when it came time to finally replace, as I feel they’ve earned it. Sure enough, the furnace/heater went down on us during one of the late 2021 cold spells - I had had enough. Contacted SoCal Airflow Pros first thing and they were able to come out within a couple of days. After discussing all of our options with Saul, we decided on a complete revamp with a heat pump, all new ducting, etc. They were able to set an install date the following week! Very impressed and excited to move so quickly.

Ulysses showed up with Rich, surveyed everything, and got started. They had to rebuild the platform in the garage where the furnace/blower and hot water heater stood. They were even able to remove the water heater, rebuild the platform, with a sheet metal top and coping… To say the outcome of Uly’s efforts were anything but a work of art, really doesn’t do it justice. (I am SO impressed). Uly even got inside and underneath, cleaned and sealed off any portion that wasn’t necessary for the operation so it was streamlined for efficiency. Rich was dealing with another issue in the backyard where the unit stood - there was cement build-up where the new platform needed to go. He didn’t skip a beat and did everything he could to remove and level the area. It was incredibly tedious work and a lot of labor.

Alex and Octavias were dealing with vents and ducts while the others were in the garage and backyard. These two guys did an amazing job with the duct work in the attic. Everything is now to code, the air flow is remarkably better in every room - downstairs and upstairs. I’m sure we’ll see the full efficiency of the unit as we get into the summer months as well.

I can’t thank SoCal Airflow Pros enough for the wonderful job they did. They’re experts in what they do and it will be done way above any expectations you may have. We want to personally thank Uly, Rich, Octavias, and Alex for their skilled work. You’ve made our lives better, boys!

What an amazing company! I called SoCal Airflow Pros initially for a diagnostic on my furnace. As I suspected it was beyond repair. Jack took his time to explain and show me of how bad my 30 year old furnace was. He gave me a couple of options to go over. He answered all my questions and concerns and the most relieving aspect was he never tried to up sell me a higher price on replacing my furnace an AC. As expected I did get a couple of other quotations from other companies but these companies were all trying to hard sell on the spot. Being a woman homeowner I felt very uncomfortable with this tactic. Let alone bringing in their crew in my home with how I felt on there sales pitch. I called Jack on Thursday evening to let him know that I decided to go with his proposal. To my amazement he was able to get a team out the next morning to pull out the furnace for preparation of the duct removal company. He sent out Terrance and OT. Team Slidz as they are referred to. Omg I hit the jackpot with this team!! As a homeowner for many years. I have never had workers like this team. These guys were amazing! They called me every morning to let me know they were on their way which was wonderful as other contractors would make you wait most of day and hopefully they showed up. But not this team. They were here first thing in the morning. They were extremely knowledgeable on there work. My home is an older home and as expected there were a few surprises they came across. This team was able to conquer all the obstacles that older homes have such as tight spots in the attic. They always kept me updated on the project. They were very conscious of my pets from escaping by keeping the gate closed at all times. Which was much appreciated and relieving knowing that these guys cared about my pets. They finished the job within a couple of days which was fantastic. They gave me some useful tips of how maintain comfortable temperatures efficiently as well as maintenance care. It's been a moderate Winter and Spring in Southern California and we hadn't needed our A/C until just yesterday when the heat arrived with a vengeance. Sadly, our A/C didn't. Although tested by the home inspector when we purchased our condo just two months ago, it failed. None of the other A/C service companies I called could schedule a service call for at least two days, but SoCal Airflow Pros was here early the next day after I called.

The problem that the SoCal Airflow technician discovered was a wiring error, an incorrect connection plus a damaged wire in the ground near the condenser, both of which he repaired in little time. He then cleaned and serviced the unit.

I didn't hesitate to sign up for their routine service to preclude future problems. Also, the veteran discount helped lower their already reasonable pricing.

I recommend them without reservation.

We are thrilled with our new furnace, new air conditioning and new ducts that SoCal Airflow Pros provided us!

Tyler responded immediately to our request for a Saturday afternoon consultation appointment. He was kind enough to thoroughly inspect our old furnace and air ducts, took photos of damage, wear and leaks, and then spent at least an hour explaining our options and answering our many questions. His presentation was much appreciated and more detailed than we could ever expect! Just two hours after our Saturday appointment, Tyler forwarded us two, formal and detailed quotes, along with a note to say that he was available for any further questions we may have from either our meeting or from the quotes. It was very much appreciated.

We chose to replace our entire system and couldn't be happier with the end results that the fabulous crew provided us! Robert was incredible; he spent two days removing our old furnace and installing the new one in expert fashion and with no mess at all! Chris was fantastic; he worked tirelessly on the installation of our new air conditioning system/condenser and handled all the electrical work and installation of our new Ecobee thermostat. David and Brandon joined the party on day two and they spent the day installing new air ducts and registers, making certain that each room was adjusted to our liking. The entire crew was over the top in terms of customer service; from the front desk, the hard-working crew and Cody. The crew was at our home for two days and left the house and yard spotless. They were friendly and patient with every question or concern I may have had during the entire process. We highly recommend SoCal Airflow Pros and have already passed along their contact information to friends who are in the market for both air conditioning and furnaces. We had multiple companies come out to quote us for a new HVAC system, including new duct work and moving the furnace to the attic - a major job. While So Cal was not the cheapest, they were comparable and left me with the confidence that the job would be done right. Getting a quality installation was very important to me so I chose to go with them. Cody always answered my questions and was very attentive. During and after the install, a couple of unexpected things came up due to the design of my house. So Cal was quick to make things right, even if it included coming back out. I am very happy with the way they held true to their word and did not charge me extra, and always cheerfully made sure things were in the proper working order. Earlier this week while trying to get an appointment, during our heat wave, I became frustrated and let the online appt center know that I was promised a call back, the day before, but never recieved one. Later that evening, after the office was closed, I received a call from Cody, the owner, and he took care of business! We even chatted for awhile and I never got the feeling of being rushed or hard sold.

So Cal Airflow was definitely a pleasure to work with. We originally had Tyler out in January and he gave us a breakdown of what work we needed done and told us if we decide to do the work now or later he would be glad to help. Six months later we decided to do the work and Tyler came back out rechecked everything and explained again what needed to be done. It was very refreshing to not feel pressured into doing the work immediately.

David and another gentleman came to my house to do the work and were on time and communicated when they would be there as I had to leave work to let them in. They also called when they left for their lunch break so I knew they weren’t in the house if I came home.

The work is being completed today but at the end of the day I’m not just recommending them for their work but for how they treat their customers and their customers time. Awesome company and will be sure to recommend them to anyone who needs HVAC work done.

This company is so great. Very polite, professional and didn't oversell anything. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family/friends and strangers. I messed up the first thermostat they installed and came back to put in a different one that's easier for an older person to operate and was still very polite and helpful. It's a book but Please read before using this company, They have a lot of good reviews, but this is Not, It's a real time, current problem that SoCal Air Flow Pro’s need to fix and wont. I live in Anaheim and have owned our house for 30+years, we are retirement age. We decided to update our 1st floor with new flooring and counter tops and other upgrades and we decided if we were going to update our HVAC system now was the time, before we start the major upgrades to our house.. I may have to post this is several comments as it is a bit long, Again this is a re-time current issue. I wanted to get something out on Yelp now.I Contacted SoCal Air Pros to come out and give us a bid to replace a 20 year old HVAC System. Their Sales person came out on Friday 2/24/23 in a recent rainstorm, (Had to give him Credit for that). A Nice energetic sales person who took duct & vent measurements, inspected the system from condenser to the furnace & blower in attic. We explained the system worked but was noisy and 20 years old. He said his solution would give us better air flow and solve our cooling problem in our Master Bedroom, The new "Heat Pump" System is more reliable and does not use Gas or Electric to heat, it will be cleaner and more efficient. They would use the existing copper lines, add another return vent & new ducts We Guarantee our work, equipment and workmanship. We stand behind every install to 100% satisfaction and the Owner Cody is known throughout the HVAC word as a duct & HVAC guru as he is on the cover of some HVAC magazines. All impressive and the price was reasonable and in-line with other 3 quotes we received, They also said they could start the following Monday Morning 2/28/23.Monday 2/28/23 - 4 install technicians showed up early and demoed the old (working) condenser & furnace and associated ducting, They started install of the new Ameristar system (Heat Pump, Air handler, distribution duct and ducting to vents. During this I was informed that they would NOT be adding the extra return vent as it was not needed, We were told the Sales Person was incorrect in his calculations and because of the proposed location they would not be install the vent, but the old vent was adequate to supply the new system. I was not happy as the Sales person had just been to training and was also an installer and I was sold something I did NOT get. Not sure still who was correct, but I agreed to proceed. Also this the new Big weather system was moving through. Made the install mush more difficult and I understood. They left and we had No heat..Tuesday 2/29/23 - 2 Install technicians returned and worked really hard to get the install complete but was having a pressure issue, there seemed to be a leak. (Note: Heat Pump System operate at a much higher pressure then the old style systems), They found a leak in the pipe running from the house to the old condenser and they replaced that section and re-routed the lines. All looked promising but they needed to return Wednesday.. They left and we had NO heat, they did offer to bring us a space heater..

Since they had a good rating, I contacted and asked to repair my AC system about in July. A guy came up and told me that he would put color to identify where is leaking that costed me about $1,000. I asked to come back in a month so I have AC in Summer. He said that he won't be able to come back until November??? after summer. I called the office in August to come back and check the color. Nobody showed up to repair. I realized that I wasted the $1,000, and hired to other repair company. I don't know how they get such a good rating. It's very skeptical. I haven't seen anything to recommend them. This is about a couple of years ago. I don't know why they think that I want to hire them, but they contact me every November to maintain my AC. I tried to forget the bad experience, but I am writing this to protect all of consumer.

Updated to reduce stars based on owner comments. FYI, if you don't want to replace the capacitors due to the voltage, there are other "honest" HVAC guys...
