SoCal joins a select group of businesses across the country that meet the criteria for the HIRE Vets Medallion Program and is honored and humbled to receive this recognition.
About the HIRE Vets Program
The HIRE Vets Medallion Program is the only federal veterans’ employment program that recognizes commitment to veteran hiring, retention, and professional development. We’re proud to be a recipient of the 2021 HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion Award.
Companies are rewarded with the HIRE Vets Medallion when they meet a rigorous criteria, including percentage of new and retained veteran hires and integrating enrichment programs that benefit their lives including career development.
HEROES Internship Program
Our internship program is designed to help Veterans transitioning back to civilian life and find a long-term, successful career in the trades. Our program provides Veterans a free opportunity to learn the HVAC trade and decide if this is the right industry for them before they invest their time and money in trade school.
Apprentices and Interns accompany our technicians and installers to job sites and spend time in the office learning about the day-to-day operations. We want them to watch us work and gain the benefit of first-hand experience.

Actively Support Veterans?
SoCal is dedicated to helping our veterans in every way possible, which is why we created our HVAC for HEROES program.
This program helps provide military Veterans, firefighters, and law enforcement workers with disabilities with free service, maintenance, and even a full heating and cooling system for their homes.
